It’s just like it sounds. A ‘little piggy’ from the classic ‘this little piggy went to the market’ song, going wee wee wee all the way home… from car pool. The mom driving looks like she’s five wee wee’s from cutting the pigs head and roasting him whole over an open fire.
Update 1/10/12: CLICK HERE for Maxwell The Pig’s new commercial!

August 11, 2010 - 9:21 amI love it, it’s the funniest of their current commercials. If you want the most annoying (by far) it’s without a doubt the one with the soccer announcer talking Spanish and then yelling GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL at the top of his lungs, for what seems like an eternity.
Lulu
August 11, 2010 - 11:40 pmThis ad makes me want to jam knitting needles in my ear drums every time I hear it. Seems like “annoying” is the new black. I’m not amused by the Wiig-ification of almost everything on TV.
Joy
August 15, 2010 - 1:05 pmI agree with Carlos – I love this commercial with the piggy and also the other Geico commercial with the drill sargeant therapist are funny commercials and yes the one with the soccer announcer is annoying!
Kyra
August 17, 2010 - 3:07 pmI love this commercial! I love the guy who does the rhetoric! Who is he?
Michelle
August 19, 2010 - 6:46 amI happen to love this silly commercial. It may be silly to others, but every time I hear it, it makes me laugh to myself because with everything going on in the world, laughter is good medicine for me. I’m just saying.

August 20, 2010 - 9:17 amThis ad is great if you don’t laugh at this you must be a complete stick in the mud. It puts a smile on my face everytime I see it.

August 20, 2010 - 9:42 pmAre you all kidding me? This is the most annoying commercial I’ve ever witnessed. I want to break my TV every time it comes on. What’s funny about this commercial? What is funny? Please tell me?

August 21, 2010 - 8:08 pmI like to fall asleep watching the Discovery Channel, and lately I have told my girlfriend that I wake up everyday at 4:31 in the morning. I look at the clock and it is exactly 4:31 am not 4:30 and not 4:32
I like to fall asleep watching some program like “The Universe” or “Modern Marvels” since I have seen every one of them and the repetition lets me fall asleep – mindless background noise. BUT
That irritating commercial comes on at 4:31 every morning and I didn’t realize this until I woke up and that screeching sound was playing. I really think they raise the volume for this commercial, and it wakes me up completely. I am going to write them a letter.
Maggie
August 29, 2010 - 6:01 pmI love the pig commercial! I laugh everytime I see it. Maxwell cries “wee” all the way home. Best one yet!
DGA
August 31, 2010 - 6:20 pmI laugh so hard I can’t breathe every time I see this one, to the point that we re-wind the tv over and over and over.

September 5, 2010 - 2:36 pmGEICO ad writers are geniuses! This one is the best by far, but we have a love affair with the gecko as well.

September 7, 2010 - 10:01 pmI absolutely love this commercial, its so cute and silly you can’t help but smile. One person’s love is another’s hate – so goes the world.

September 8, 2010 - 8:33 pmYet another complaint forum infested by company trolls who sing the praises about the company in question. (ooooh I just LOVE that commercial with the screeching pig! Who is the Nobel Laureate nominee who came up with that masterpiece blah blah blah?) May each one of you responsible for this commercial experience a reincarnation that involves attending a luau – with an apple in your mouth.
PHIL ROLFFS
September 8, 2010 - 8:37 pmI love this commercial. My wife loves it. She imitates the piggy. It cracks me up.

September 18, 2010 - 11:06 amI LOVE the Little Pig commercial – takes me back to those wonderful times of mom playing the Little Piggy “toe game!” I came here trying to figure out what the driver was calling the pig and see from reading thru posts his name is Maxwell, which makes the commercial even better because it fits perfectly with audience the commercial is targeting!

September 22, 2010 - 7:16 pmThe polarized responses to this video are the most hilarious thing about it.

September 23, 2010 - 6:40 amYou guys are nuts if you like this annoying piece of rubbish, it has me scrambling for the remote to mute it.

October 1, 2010 - 9:21 amMy favorite commercial, so totally ridiculous it lights up my life each time I see it. It takes a hour and half or more each day to get home from work and during the good, traffic is moving parts I now answer the phone wee, wee, weee. Who hasn’t felt like that little pig on a Friday?
Richard in Tillamook
October 2, 2010 - 6:41 amThis is the second-best commercial (the Old Spice one is the best) I have seen all year. I love the pig. And Mrs. A. is a fox!

October 2, 2010 - 10:14 amFunniest commercial I’ve ever seen. Seen it 20 times or more and still laugh out loud.

October 2, 2010 - 6:54 pmSometimes commercials (and other things) are so stupid they are good. Stupid or not, I wish I could cash a paycheck for being the one who wrote this one.

October 3, 2010 - 8:41 pmI love this commerical it is best geico commerical. The guy in the intro is HRG from Heroes the actor is Jake Coleman.
King of Internetz
October 4, 2010 - 4:11 pmMY GOD. All the people who “love” this commercial must DEFINITELY work for Geico, scanning the Internet for criticisms of their work, because it it by and large the worst, most hated thing that has ever come across my TV.
joe
October 7, 2010 - 9:13 pmThe “geniuses” who came up with this fingernails on a blackboard commercial should be shot, or slow roasted on a spit shoved up their butts, with an apple in their big mouths. Thank goodness for the mute button and remotes.
matt
October 9, 2010 - 3:25 pmAll you clowns who hate this commercial must work for State Farm and just be roaming the web to put down Geico.
Brian Davilla
October 13, 2010 - 12:58 pmLove this commercial!!! Look forward to seeing it. Those who trash it must either work for a rival insurance company or they’re just a bunch of old cranks! Glad I’m not a sourpuss!!

October 15, 2010 - 5:55 pmIt’s a sad comment on TV programming when the commercials are so much better than the shows they interrupt.

October 16, 2010 - 7:39 pmThis ad is not up to par with some of their earlier ones. It is annoying and noisy and forces us to change channels.

October 17, 2010 - 8:26 pmIt I were in that car the pig would be bacon by the time we got home
Bob
October 19, 2010 - 2:08 pmHow can you like this commercial / think its “cute” / find it funny? This is the most annoying piece of shit commercial to ever have been broadcast. Every time it is played (nearly every commercial break during football), I call GEICO to complain. I don’t need something screaming at me from my TV!
NkS
October 19, 2010 - 5:48 pmCute? The first few times…maybe….but the “WEE, WEE, WEE” over and over is beyond annoying….not entertaining….and would NOT entice me to want to buy this insurance at all. The Geico gekko is the best of the commercials in my opinion…..and the company should stop using anything in place of him.
loadstah
October 22, 2010 - 7:56 amIt was funny the first 100 times. Now its old, cold and sad. Does anyone else wonder why the pig’s name is Maxwell and who Mrs or Miss or Ms. “A” is driver?
pilyoung Grissom
October 25, 2010 - 9:46 pmI love it! The take off on the nursery rhyme and the expressions of the little boy and Mrs A. are hilarious. I’m 67 so not much amuses me anymore, but this cracks me up! ( Like the wood chucks too.)
Nikki
November 2, 2010 - 2:01 pmI so totally love this commercial! Thank you Geico for making me want to play Donkey Kong 64 on my Project 64 emulator! Everytime this comes on, I decide to shut off a certain game (e.g.: Banjo-Kazooie) and turn on DK64! THANX GEICO!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

November 2, 2010 - 6:40 pmI really miss the piggy allot. I know that many people did not like that advert but I really do. Is the piggy ever going to come back? I sure hope so because whenever I saw the piggy I would just laugh my ass off. I hope you will at least leave it on site for those of us who love that comercial.
Samantha

November 2, 2010 - 6:57 pmI have read what there what other people have said about this advert and I can’t hope but notice that the majority of the people like the piggy. So I have one question, when is it coming back? I hope it is coming back soon becase I just love it. I kow that some people have said that some things are so bad it is good. I think you could use that here. But I just love it, every time I see it I just must laugh. Anything that brings on a smile is a good thing to have around these days. So lets here it for the Piggy! There are some really bad ones, ones that thank Goddess have gone away. Not going to quantify which one for fear they will come back.

November 5, 2010 - 6:56 pmI hope that geico doesn’t think that any attention to a commercial is good attention because for as many people that like it there are at least as many people that don’t. A commercial should draw you in not make you want to turn it off. If they have so many people really that annoyed with it why wouldn’t they just stop showing it. Remember “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you”. Personally it irritates the hell out of me .

November 9, 2010 - 2:41 pmWhat spoof is the guy in the commercail from.
In other words : what character in which show?

November 13, 2010 - 12:41 pmlol.u guys cant take a joke…i have the little piggy as my ringtone…every time it goes off everyone around me starts grinning from ear to ear…get a sense of humor.this is the best gieco commercial to date!

November 16, 2010 - 3:59 pmAs far as wife and I are concerned, this is the best of all GEICO commercial. Whenever it comes on if one or the other is not watching TV, we immediately call the other so we can both enjoy it. We really miss not having seen it lately.
Billy
November 16, 2010 - 6:30 pmwhat are the words to the commercial. The pig’s name and mother’s name.
Mary
November 29, 2010 - 6:25 pmOh nooooo. I love this ;ittle piggy. He is so adorable. How could you imagine him roasted. Noooo, he is sooooooooooooooooo cute. Simply cute
Big Bad Wolf
December 2, 2010 - 5:40 pmI wonder if I knocked his head off with a baseball bat as they drove by my house, if it would make a weee sound as it rolled down the block to slow stop
Brett
December 12, 2010 - 6:20 pmI hope the Ad Exec who dreamed this up has children. I hope his children are gangraped by a farmer and then fed to hogs. Then he might know a portion of the pain he has inflicted upon the world.
whitneymuse
January 5, 2011 - 9:51 pmI pretty much despise that commercial, too; the sound of the pig saying, ” wee-ee-ee” is the most annoying sound on TV; guess that’s what they had in mind…gets one’s attention. ,,,then the low-key voice ” Mrs. A.” …see I remembered the dialogue, too. GEICO accomplished their mission with me.
TigerLikestail
January 8, 2011 - 10:43 pmI def have a sense of humor.
However there is absolutely nothing cute or funny about this ad or the pig.
I would live to take piano wire & stretch it taut so when that ridiculous animated pig begins
going weeee then his head would be lopped off rolling towards an awaited kid with a soccer uniform
that could practice kicking goals with it.
It is loud, annoying, & intrusive just as the majority of Geico ad’s.

January 10, 2011 - 9:18 amI love this commercial! It is very funny and I laugh every time it comes on.

March 4, 2011 - 5:00 pmYOUR COMMERCIALS ARE SO STUPID AND ANNOYING THAT I WOULD GO WITHOUT AUTO INSURANCE THAN BUY FROM YOUR COMPANY. ALL AMERICANS ARE NOT IDIOTS. I ACTUALLY TURN OFF THE TV WHEN YOUR COMMERCIAL’S COME ON. THEY ARE STUPID, STUPID, STUPID, AND IF YOU DON’T GET IT ” THEY ARE STUPID.”
Georgecantstandya
February 10, 2013 - 8:23 amExactly and the radio too when I am working. It is corporate America at its lowest and they just keep going. Geico must have to charge twice as their competitors to pay for all these stupid ads.
Anon
March 23, 2011 - 9:48 pmMy mother and I both love the Little Piggy and she is 90. (Of course it is impossible to underestimate the intelligence of the American public. I liked the Budweiser frogs too.)
Sossy Girl
July 9, 2011 - 5:28 pmThe pig is far less paunful than the brief Geico commercial of some man in an office screaming at the top of his lungs. I immediately switched channels whenever it came on & finally wrote feedback to Geico after the third or fourth time. TV is for enjoyment, not annoyance. Haven’t seen the Screamer for a while. Hope they got smart & pulled that one, and better yet, fired the idiot ad agency that dreamed it up. Pig is sort of fun, though

January 6, 2012 - 10:31 amAbsolutely horrible. I do love to laugh and make people laugh. I do have a since of humor. But this thing is so NOT funny; it’s monotonous, and just moronic. I know people have different perspectives with their personal humor, but i cannot imagine understanding anyone who likes this. Pure junk. And like some others, I personally would go out of my way to not buy this company’s products for approving this ad. But i am sure they run the numbers, and have decided that it gets enough attention to warrant continuation of this piggy character. They just released a second one. Get me hammer please, to throw at my screen!

January 6, 2012 - 3:08 pmI LOVE this pig for his ability to enjoy the simple things in life. Maxwell reminds me of myself. My first boyfriend nicknamed me E.A. for ‘Easily Amused’ because I got so enthusiastic about some of the most silly things. Maxwell has a new commercial out on which he’s coming down a zip line at breakneck speed. The guy on the line next to his is hanging on for dear life, while Maxwell has his arms outstretched with a pinwheel in each hand and he’s crying, “Wheeeee!!!”…..”Wheeeeeee!!!”, all the way down. I LOVE it!! I don’t work for Geico or any other insurance company and I doubt those annoyed by the pig’s commercials work for a competitor. The truth is, Geico’s commercial writers are brilliant!! Think about it….You either LOVE the commercials or you HATE them, but you always remember WHO put them out, don’t you? That’s the whole point! They got ya whether you intend to be gotten or not! LOL. Those of you who are so irritated by the pig have too much stress in your lives. Learn to slow down, take yourself less seriously and enjoy the simpler things in life. Laughter is an amazing stress-reliever. It works for anxiety too! So take a breather. Remember what it was like to be a kid. Allow yourself to embrace the silliness and to laugh at the inane things, because there is way too much tension in the present world and we ALL can use the laughter. 🙂

January 7, 2012 - 10:37 pmI hate the pig commercials! Believe me, I have enough stress in my life without cringing during commercial breaks while watching football. I say give me a pan and lets cook some bacon! Love the gecko in NY commercial though.
Professor
January 8, 2012 - 3:27 amThe most annoying thing I have ever heard. I almost break my tv every time I see these ridiculous commercials. Fuck.
Joe
January 12, 2012 - 9:59 pmGeico is obviously targeting morons and in this country there are plenty. So this commercial is perfect.
DC
January 15, 2012 - 10:39 pmThe objective of any commercial is to be remembered and this one achieves it, but unfortunately for all bad reasons… lowering the volume on my tv while it’s on does the job very well.
Anonymous
January 18, 2012 - 5:30 pmCould it be an age thing where just the young think this is funny, or just idiots and that’s GEICO”s target audience?
JR
January 19, 2012 - 10:02 amOoohhh, must be a State Farm employee, ooohhh my wife thinks it’s funny (your only audience, Mr Mad Man, because she relies on your lousy paycheck to pay for hotel rooms for her and her afternoon lover), geniuses. What a load fo crap. The pig is NOT funny and the commercial sucks. Everyone knows that.
You are company shills or brain dead idiots.
You sat in some fucking “board room” somewhere and thought you “brainstormed” a keeper. You just fucked up and fooled yourselves. We all know the Pig commercials suck balls.
It is absolutely transparent that you are trying to copy or recreate the success of the Geico Gecko (who IS a good spokes-thing for Geico). If you were not in on that success you need to keep plugging away on toast and low cholesterol margarine commercials. Keep working on your “distance learning” degree, you’ll get it and make your parents proud.

January 20, 2012 - 9:27 pmGeico really is cheap…..Everytine I hear that annoying PIG commercial I shut off my televishion saving lots of money………thank you GEICO
Drew
January 21, 2012 - 9:03 pmWith any luck someone will turn the little porker sonofabitch into bacon, ham and sausage and rid us of this crap. It is an ignorant commercial!
Bryan
January 22, 2012 - 8:09 pmAwful, dreadful commercial.
I just hate that pig.
Stella
January 23, 2012 - 8:02 pmThis is the worst commercial series I have ever seen. The only thing on TV worse than the pig squeal is the alarm that follows, “This is a test, this is only a test …” I do not for a moment believe the comments on this blog. I am certain they were all left by nervous members of the advertising team who came up with this awful, insulting concept. I turn the channel as soon as I see the thing, and all my friends all do, too. Not so great if you are trying to sell a product or promote a show. It is an insult to us all.
Eric Allan
January 24, 2012 - 6:47 amThe Geico Ad men really are genious…so much so that I ran right back to State Farm to renew my policy. The only thing worse and more repulsive than the “pigs” at Geico is that obnoxious plastic sleaze bag that does the Progressive Ins. ads.
TJ
January 25, 2012 - 9:55 pmVery interesting on how the last 10 or 11 comments have been negative all of the sudden, after half or most were loving this SPIKE THROUGH MY BRAIN of a commercial at the beginning of this blog – maybe their last check finally cleared. I worked for a company that had our people plant positive comments on blogs. I hope that’s the case here and not that there are that many folks in the general population who actually like this F-ing swill. Also, I am actually shopping for new car & home insurance. Guess who I’m not calling?
Elliott
January 26, 2012 - 1:14 amYou’re right, TJ. Those are indeed Geico employees leaving positive feedback. The pig, itself, boils down to lazy advertising. Shreaking voice and nonstop airplay is a low-brow approach to advertising. I feel REALLY bad for the companies whose commercials have to follow this pig. By then the TVs have all been muted or channels have been changed. I would be LIVID!

January 26, 2012 - 10:59 amYou people make me sick. You’d have to have the intelligence of a baby to enjoy this terrible commercial
Georgecantstandya
February 10, 2013 - 8:21 amGeico ads are just horrible and what is worse most of the insurance ads are now less than serious. I find it offensive. Insurance is a serious matter and should not be joked about, not even in an ad and in stupid humor no less. Geico is intrusive. They are oversaturated and I can only wonder that this actually brings their costs up. I did not even get into the stupid flyovers. Flyover ads for an auto insurance company? Talk about irresponsible.
