I feel bad having to say this, but some people scare me. Obviously this commercial is not real. The Wheat Thins team reads a ‘real’ tweet of a user saying that the Wheat Thins commercials are fake. So to prove they are real, the team goes to the person in the commercial and gives him a palette of crackers. So it’s a fake commercial saying they aren’t fake. And people believe them. Scary… and annoying.

January 25, 2011 - 1:33 amI have never seen a single wheat thins commercial that resembles this fake ‘reality tv’ type one. This is a nonsense ad campaign… a guy tweets that the ads… that don’t exist yet.. are fake, and he gets visited by some guy in a van…said van also happens to carry a PALLET full of wheat thins?
Who knows how it will turn out, but as far as my person is concerned I don’t buy it.
