This 80 year old grandmother has lived in Iowa her whole life and speaks out in favor of the LGBT community. Even though she raised her family with conservative, tradition values, her son came out gay. Grandma explains that her son is a person like everyone else, not a talking point. She is outraged, as am I, that Iowa may rule against gay marriage. How does it hurt anyone else if two people, no matter the sex, are together in love? It baffles my mind Aren’t there bigger issues at hand?
