News anchor Karl of Australia’s Today Show had the privilege to talk to and interview the world famous Dalai Lama. At one point Karl tries to tell a joke involving the the Dalai Lama himself. He says, “The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop, and says, ‘Can you make me one with everything?’ “
The joke is cheesy, but cute enough. Unfortunately, the Dalai Lama didn’t understand the joke and needed a translator. And even then, he didn’t understand the English pun of ‘one with everything’. Karl is stuck in front of everyone and the camera looking like a fool. He even says while holding his head in his hands, “I knew that wouldn’t work.”
