West Indian Writer and Broadcaster, Darcus Howe, gave an interview to the BBC concerning the current riots and looting going on in London. He says his children and the other youth in the country have been mistreated by police for a long time, and that has helped fuel the fire of the riots. He, of course, does not condone violence or looting, but he says that the mistreatment of the youth has not helped the situation.
