When the first Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Il Sung, passed away in 1994, the entire country fell into a state of depression and weeping. Late Sunday night, North Korea media announced that Kim Jong Il, Kim Il Sung’s son, died from a heart attack. The North Korean people reacted to the news in the same way as when Il Sung died. They stormed the streets weeping, crying, and bawling that the son of the Supreme Leader left them.
