In a recent episode, Danish TV show Detektor mocked President Obama over using the same two compliments when meeting with heads of state. When Obama was visited by the Danish Prime Minister, he said the great country ‘punches above their weight.’
It’s a nice compliment, but host Thomas Buch-Andersen quickly points out that Obama has bestowed many other countries with the same line. He also shows Obama over using the terms ‘strongest, closest allies’ in regards to many countries, but not his own. The video is featured by USAToday.
