MaKey MaKey is a simple and ingenious device that can transform nearly any physical object into a touch pad to execute commands on your keyboard. 

The technology was created by Jay Silver and Eric Rosenbaum, two final-year PhD students at the MIT Media Lab. Just to give an idea of what their device can do, they created this promo video which features a banana piano, a playdough video game controller, and much more!

Now, their two week old promotional video already has over 1.3 million views, and is covered on Wired, GeekoSystem, and PCWorld
