World famous actor Will Smith is no doubt most famous for his original starring role on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air TV show from the 1990’s. Where ever Smith goes, young people seem to know the lyrics to the Fresh Prince theme song, and want to sing it with him.
Last year, he and the studio audience on The Graham Norton Show on the BBC all sang the theme together, and now video of that performance stands with over 7 million hits.
Will recently visited a British middle school, and while on stage, of course was asked to rap the theme song. All he had to say was, “West Philadelphia…” for the entire room of school children to rise to their feet screaming, cheering, and singing along.
The week old video of the outrageous scene has gone viral, and stands with over 300,000 views.
