This video by Telegraph tv featuring a speech by actor Kevin Spacey has gone viral! The clip has already garnered over 200,000 hits in one day.

During his address at the James MacTaggart Memorial Lecture at the Edinburgh Television Festival, Spacey attempted to explain to TV executives that the game has changed. Younger viewers no longer distinguish between TV shows, movies, and YouTube.

“If you watch a TV show on your iPad is it no longer a TV show? The device and length are irrelevant … For kids growing up now there’s no difference watching Avatar on an iPad or watching YouTube on a TV and watching Game Of Thrones on their computer. It’s all content. It’s all story.”

Kevin urged the executives not to make the same mistake the music industry made, and instead, give viewers more control over the content they love.
