Of all the people to cover Katy Perry’s most recent uplifting and inspirational hit single, Roar, Canadian Olivia Wise may be the most appropriate.
Olivia is battling brain cancer, and her physical condition is sadly deteriorating. But she is a fighter, so even though she can no longer stand, or take deep breaths, she jumped on the chance to cover the hit single when offered time at the recording studio.
Now, her three week old cover video has thankfully gone viral, with over half a million hits, allowing more and more viewers to donate to her Brain Tumor Research fund.
The video has also been featured by major new sites, such as CNN, HuffPost, Examiner, DailyMail, and Metro.
