You really have to have something to say to attract the attention of New Yorkers. And you have to be a master to convince them to part with their money.
British salesman Joe Ades was one such master. This 2008 video of Joe selling a vegetable peeler on the streets of Manhattan has gone viral again now after appearing on Reddit. Somehow, Joe is able to entertain and amaze countless strollers and online viewers with a simple veggy peeler.
Sadly, Joe passed in 2009. But don’t worry. His daughter is following in his footsteps and can be found on the same streets pitching the same peeler.
