Plastics have become a serious environmental concern. The oceans are now littered with plastic islands. The material just won’t decompose! Bio-plastics are a great alternative as they are made from bio-waste and decompose with no pollution. Elif Bilgin of Istanbul, Turkey has spent the last two years creating a simple bio-plastic from bananas and has finally completed her project.
