The Northwestern Wildcats almost lost to Notre Dame over the weekend in South Bend, but Northwestern kicker Jack Mitchell scored a field goal with 19 seconds left to take the game to overtime. After scoring another quick field goal it was all over, 43-40. Naturally, the team was elated with the win over Notre Dame.
But they were really happy when they found bags and bags of hot and crispy Chick-fil-A waiting for them as they walked to the locker room. Yum! Pass the hot sauce, please.
